In business since 1997, entrepreneur and owner Claudia Moro Smith, nicknamed Cocco, founded Cocco's Gourmet Chocolates one year after retiring from a twenty-one year career as a Critical Care R.N./ Patient Educator and graduate from the Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center, School of Nursing. Making and designing chocolate was a hobby that grew into a business. It became a hit among local businesses and spread by word of mouth, next came private parties and special events. Claudia has a passion for making and designing specialty chocolates and helping others. Her business is affiliated with Cal State University San Marcos, College of Business Administration.

Our mission is to provide premium quality products, using only the finest quality chocolate and confections, providing excellent customer service, and giving back to the community.

Our elegant packaging is custom designed to compliment and showcase each item and expresses how much love and care goes into each piece of chocolate we make. You can be proud to give all our products as gifts. Please contact us if you are interested in a custom order.

At Cocco's Gourmet Chocolates we believe in giving back. A minimum of 10 -20% profit will be given to charity. We regularly participate in fundraisers and chocolate is donated to raise money for community. The following charities we support are: Solutions for Change, San Diego Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, MS, Children's Miracle Network, Living Beyond Breast Cancer and Susan G. Komen Foundation.
